Marco.
Polo.
When I call, God, You are there. AMEN!
It’s dark.
I AM the light.
When I can’t see, God, You light my path. AMEN!
It hurts.
I AM the comforter.
When the pain feels too much, God, Your grace envelops me. AMEN!
From everlasting to everlasting.
Amen and Amen.
~ Psalm 41:13
You’ve given us Your life, Your love, and Your word.
Give us faith to believe.
AMEN.
“Did I not tell you
that if you believe,
you will see
the glory of God?”
~ John 11:40
AMEN!
My oldest daughter drove away from our house yesterday. That’s not unusual at this age. She’s been off at college for four years. But this time we don’t know when she’ll be back.
She’s moving to Hawaii next week.
My heart didn’t know how it could let her drive off and keep beating.
My eyes looked up to the One who comforts me, lights my path, and gives me life.
My mouth chose to say, “Amen.”
In that one Hebrew word that means “So be it,” my heart finds courage and strength to smile at the future, knowing God will sustain us every moment.
He will not fail.
As we read God’s promises in His Word, let’s not focus on the seeming impossibility that His promises could be true for us.
Let’s believe and say, Amen.
And Thank you.
May the One who speaks and it is done fill your heart today with confidence.
Has there been a time in your life when you felt unsure, or maybe even overwhelmed, but chose to step out in faith and say Amen instead? Please share in the comments. I love hearing from you.
Jean, Thanks for including your readers in your real life events that draw you and us closer to the One with all the answers and all the peace. AMEN!!
I felt a pang deep in my mommy’s heart for you, my friend. It took me back to the day when my oldest son left for basic training in the Air Force. Guess what? He was home with his girlfriend for Super Bowl weekend. Needless to say, I was elated!
One very positive thing is: you have a great reason to go to Hawaii!
Hey friend! So understand that grip of your heart regarding your adult children. This was a great reminder for all of us to have the faith to believe that “God has got this!” no matter what that is in our lives. I am/We are stepping out in faith with our next steps for Kidz Clubs. Oh my! Exciting and scary all at the same time. Hugs and Coffee to ya!
I can’t wait to hear the reports of all God does with your Kidz Clubs. I know it’s going to be amazing. Hugs & Coffee to you, too!
Thanks, Beckie! Yes, you’re so right! We have an important excuse to justify multiple trips to Hawaii. haha! I’m so glad you got to spend the Super Bowl weekend with your son. Whoo Hoo!!! If you ever want me to swing by on my way to Hawaii and pick you up, just let me know. 😉
