In today’s episode, I’m going share with you just a quick overview of what Ease into the Bible DOES and DOESN’T do, AND what it IS and what it ISN’T.
What Ease into the Bible IS is a quick and engaging read designed to help you understand the basics of how to read and understand the Bible.
It isn’t a dry or dull text-bookish read. And it also doesn’t give you a seminary level-training on the Bible. It doesn’t explain everything there is to know about the Bible.
But it does give you confidence that you can wade into it. It’s what it says. It’s an easinginto the Bible rather than a diving headfirst into its depths. I believe very strongly that we should dive into the Bible, but we have to ease in first.
By the end of the book, my prayer is that it will inspire you and motivate you to want to dive into the Bible for the rest of your life. But we’re going to start by easing into the Bible.
In the next episode, I’ll give you an overview of all 15 chapters and a taste of what they’re like, and what you’re going to learn in this short book so that you can see even better how it is the book for you.
It is a book for anyone who is new the Bible and who wants to understand it.
Or for someone who’s been a Christian for a long time, but you’ve never felt comfortable with how to read it and study it effectively.
Or you want to have a resource that you can hand to someone who is new to the Bible, whether you mentor someone, or a group.
