“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
    his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.”

You don’t know the pain I’ve been through.

And I don’t know your pain either.

But He Knows!

Jesus not only knows everything about you — even the things you don’t know about yourself — He also knows the searing pain of loss and betrayal.

Because He knows all things fully — He never needs more information — He knows every hurt and every sting you’ve endured.

And because He walked the suffering path of the cross, betrayed by those who should have loved Him most, He knows every hurt and every sting.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d post this important public service announcement:

Love your crazy friends.
They may just save your life.

Now I realize that it’s also possible that your crazy friends may actually cost you your life. Too many “last words” in the South have been, “Hey, y’all! Watch this!”

But . . . [Read more…]

Does your story of coming to Christ rival Louis Zamperini’s from the bestselling book and movie Unbroken, or is it more like mine — it could be bottled as an effective sleeping pill?

Regardless of wow-factor, each of our testimonies shares one thing in common. [Read more…]
